Having Problems with a Rom

Hey,
I hav just configured my ePSXe Emulator and i hav already downloaded a rom. Well see thats the problem the rom doesn't work(it's Harvest Moon: back 2 nature btw).I have downloaded that rom from www.tor******y.com.
when i start the rom the screen turns black and nothing happens.
can somebody help me?
maybe i configured the ePSXe wrong?
or is the rom just trash?

EDIT: There's a better way to say this.

We don't need to know that you did anything illegal least of all where you found it, just state the problem and we'll try to help (in this case the problem was a black screen). If you downloaded something illegally and the file is corrupted it's not anyones business to talk about here.
