I am trying to move 2 files (kings of the beach and Tecmo Super bowl) plus a NesterDC emulator to a disc to use on my DC. These are the only 2 files that weren't available on another disc I have that I can use.
However, when I put the disc in the DC, it acts as though it might be a music disc. What am I doing wrong?

to expand. I am new to this. the other disc I have was given to me as a gift. I am trying to use nesterdc emulator.
Does it matter if the NES games have .nes behind them? some I have list .7z at the end.
also, my Dreamcast seems to be recognizing my new CD as music instead of a game.

ok, now I'm really confused.
I made a copy of the NES disc that already works in the DC and the copy won't work. Is it the way it's copying or something? Shouldn't the copy work since the original does?
I'm lost.

I made a NestDC disc a while ago. You should follow the instructions and put the nes games (unzipped IIRC) in the correct folder. Everything is in the readme.

sorry for being such a novice, but I'm not sure what I'm not doing.
How can I copy something that already works and the copy not work?
I'm using my D: drive (cd/dvd) to move these files over and not with a program of any sort.
Where can I find instructions or more how to. I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong.
Confused.

I suspect you use an old one. Try the latest one on this page (http://www.sch3rz0.com/nesterdcse/).
