Neo Geo games not showing up in WinKawaks List

I had a old version of Winkawaks and decided to update it to 1.55, but now not any of the neo geo games seem to show up in my list.

I know... Sadly this doesnt seem to be very common knowledge.

Some of the romsets had been updated since the last version, specially NeoGeo games and you really need either clrmame or Romcenter to check your ROMs whether there are missing files or something on your ROMs that you really want to download.

I had the very same question actually. Glad I stumbled upon this forum.

Before installing Kawaks 1.46 and the "loader", do I need to completely uninstall Kawaks 1.55?

Lastly, is it okay if I ask for a general location/URL where I can find this "loader" for download?

I have the 1.46 + loader, but they still aint showing up even thou the games are in the custom list. I want to play like new games such as KOF 2004, Metal Slug 5, and SvC.

You must add those games to the asr.dat first. -_-

i put that into asr.dat

i start up winkawaks with the loader, hit rescan, and nothing pops up.

any suggestions?

It is not necessary if you put both Kawaks in different folder. You can delete Kawaks 1.55 anytime.
