Wii, PlayStation 3 or Xbox360?

Now that the E3 conference let out a lot of details about the upcoming consoles (and the already released Xbox360) now you should have a clean path to buy one, two or all of them. So, which one(s) will you get?

Please keep this thread friendly. Don't say things like "Xbox sucks" and the likes. Every opinion must be respected.

I personally will go for the Wii because of promising titles like Super Mario Galaxy, The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess (both GameCube and Wii versions) and Super Smash Bros: Brawl with new characters like Wario, Zero Suit Samus (which is sexy http://forums.emulator-zone.com/images/smilies/wub.gif) and Solid Snake.

I'm about to get a 360, and I might get the Wii if the price is right.
But damn, that PS3 is really expensive and doesn't have many games I'm looking for...

I'm mostly going for a PS3 (I'm addicted to Sony titles)...but the others are not out of the question yet.
I liked the Red Steel demo (Wii) and Gears of War (Xbox360) both shown at E3 2k6.

Totally loved MGS 4. :D

Undecided, I'll make my choice in 12 months time, and it'll be the console with the most/best arcade racers, shmups and gun games that'll get a piece of my paycheque

I'm almost certain I will buy a Wii, for the same reason as Butters: Nintendo magic ;)

I was always going to get the 360 as soon as it hit the shelf, as I have had years of enjoyment out of my current xbox. After playing PGR3 on a friends 360, I was a little disapointed....dont get me wrong the graphics were great, but the game didnt blow me away. Now after playing a few titles, Im yet to be convinced to get one..(although Halo3 might change that..:) )

So my mind is now open to any console option, so for me its going to be a wait and see after the PS3 and Wii are released.

I've been using Sony since 1998 and I've played a lot of good games on the PlayStations, I'd like to get a PS3. The Wii looks promising and is worth looking at, I'm not too keen on an XBox 360 as they don't have many of the games I like. I'd be waiting a year before I take my pick once consoles become cheaper, I'm even thinking of buying another PS2 since it broke until then, but lets hope the PS3 doesnt have that disk read problem that many PS2's seemed to have.

Good to see that PS3 will be using the old styles controller. (I hate that new design)

Funny though, as the latest news indicated that controller will be wireless and the features likely the same as Wii's features.

But most things will look more into Nintendo as Nintendo Wii will be regarded as the last console if the upcoming sales won't do much impact in the gaming world between Microsoft and Sony. :cool:

AFAIK although the GC was/is not such a big succes, Ninty still made a good profit with it. So I don't think Nintendo will give up the console wars any time soon :)

Not a huge success...they sold as much as xbox...still failures in my book.

Nintendo Wii however,will sell,no doubt about it...

I'm gonna have to go with PS3. It just looks like the better system all around.

I don't really like the XBox that much. And 360 was better than just XBox, but I still don't love it. I'm a playstation kinda girl. :happy:

I have to say, however, I'm not sure that Nintendo is going to have anything going for them after this one. I'm unconvinced that this new system is going to be that great. I'm also unconvinced that they have any tricks left up their sleeves.

They said on CNN that Nintendo, as a strategy to reduce piracy, will sell games at a low and affordable price: less than US$ 50.

$49 is not cheap IMHO.
Especially with the hardware they got.
