Dragon force help

I am new to saturn emulation, and need help running Dragon Force. None of the emulators I've foung seem to be able to run it, even when painstakingly configured. The closest thing seems to be ssf beta 7's starting up to the SEGA message and copyright, then suddenly going into the cd player mode. Oddly enough, theres the choice to "Start Application", but that only repeats the process. Please help!

No problem. Searching before asking a question is always a good thing, since there's already a lot of knowledge available in older threads :)
