Will an emulator be ever able to emulate the touch screen? Or shuld I just take the dive and buy a DS Lite?

The touch screen is emulated, so this is not the problem but the complexity of a new system

yes but it will be a loooooooooooong tine before they will play lots of DS Games i remember when NES Emulators was not that good but look now they almost play any NES game ;)
