So I got the FF7 rom and everything is going well except the fight menus dont show, can anyone help me?

Change between video plugins.
And give more details of your emu configuration.

FF7 ISO, not ROM. Basically ISOs are CD/DVD images, and ROMs dumped data from chips

About your problem, use Pete's D3D/OGL o P.E.Op.S GPU plugins, and enable "special upload detection" on "special game fixes". Also try a higher value on "Off-Screen drawing" combo box.
Anyway more info is needed as VampyR stated before
