I'm trying to load final fantasy x on pcsx2 9.0 and the computer reads the disk and attempts toload until it says "PCSX2 has encountered a problem..."

My comp is:

2.8 ghz HT Pentium 4
512MB RAM
ATI Radeon 9600 Pro 256mb

It's a shame as i wanted to see how ffx plays as it apparently can play with the emu, although obviously not too well. I've tried using different plugins for the grpahics, and am using the PE DVD plugin, all other plugins off and the european 2.0 bios. Is there any workaround to this?

I guess you know it works very slow and makes it unplayable.

Ok, I make it work with default plugins, but P.E.Op.S CDVD plugin, Interface ASPI, my DVD drive and async reads.

Just buy a PS2
No games are really playable on any current Gen emulator

Yes, I am aware that games aren't playable, and I don't have a PS2. I just wanted to experiment with it, as it says on the PCSX2 site that FFX was compatible and have an in-game movie. But my emu is being annoying and I'm not sure why.

seeing as i've seen a movie from the official pcsx2 website playing ffx, along with screenshots, i was hoping itf there was a way. has anyone else played FFX (PAL) using PCSX2 0.9?
