Kingdom Hearts CD wont work

I now have the CD.:o BUT then I put it in my PS2 system and when I click New game...

Sora is in the water, yeah I know. After that, he jumps out of the water and see's Riku in the sea. Then it stops there. (It moved after 10seconds and stopped again).

What do I do?! I cleaned the cd and the disc holder!

PS2 system console's reading failure, or DVD itself? Test it with other PS2 console. :cool:

And use good DVD media, Verbatim (CMC code), TDK (TDK code, "scratchproof"), Ritek G05 or Taiyo Yuden, for example

My friend had the same problem with the same CD on another PS2 system. It's probably just the CD. What could be wrong, he was just playing awhile ago.:D :o
