I have been trying to get ther sound to work properly for Rez with little luck. I am using the latest version of Chankast.

My system specs:

A64 3200+ 939
Chaintech VNF4 Ultra Zenith VE
1 GB ram
ATI X1800XT 512MB
SB Audigy 1
XBox 360 Gamepad

I have the latest Soundblaster drivers and I have also tried the KXProject drivers.

When I play Rez, the sound will be ok for a few minutes and then it will start to cut out and the music will stop playing. You will only hear certain choppy sound effects. If I use the KXProject drivers, the sound lasts a little longer...until about the 1st boss, but it craps out too. I also tried it on my laptop and have the same problem where the sound just starts to take a dump after a few minutes.

Does anybody know what to do to fix this problem? Am I gonna have to wait for that open source DC emulator to come out to fix this?

The game it's supposed to have buggy gfx on Chankast, not sure about the sound problems:

I think you have to wait, there's not much known about new DC emulators, I bet Chankast is likely to be discontinued
