Gamepad HELP

I just purchased this game pad...

I've got 2 emulators. The FCE Ultra emulator and the SNES9X. Anyone know if I'm able to use this gamepad for gaming with these emulators? And if so, how do I get it set up for use? I'm very new to this, and so far no luck getting this pad set up.

If its detected under WinXP it must work.

Just map (configure/input) the keys to those on the gamepad.

I'm not sure it's as simple as that. In SNES9X when I enter the joypad configuration window, this is the window I get:

You can't change the mapping to the gamepad buttons...and directions like Axis X and Axis Y ?
