help with emulators

ok ive never used emulators before and i downloaded nineteen64 and ocarina of time and that all worked but now when i open ocarina it just has the intro and "no controller" is flashing what should i do now is there a way to configure the button to keys thanks for any help

Why don't you try Project64? It's simply... the best N64 emulator ever.

To select any input plugin, menu "plug-ins" -> "change plug-ins": I recommend N-Rage
To config the input plugin on Nineteen64: Menu "plugins" -> "input settings": Click on "devices" tab, then "Device" -> select you gamepad if you got one. If it isn't, just click on the each button to remap the virtual N64 gamepad
