I thought of something really cool today and i was wondering... if i rip the HD out of my xbox and stick em in another partition of my drive (empty) will i be able to dual boot an os and then xbox?

IE

i have 2 partitions on my harddrive windows, and a blank, if i took all the files from the xbox hdd and stuck em in that partition, would I be able to load up the xbox console that way?

i may be wrong here but i was thinking xbox had its own OS. if that is so then no because you can only boot one operating system at a time.

but filling a third partition seems plausible. however it would only really work for educational purposes. i doubt that you can play any xbox games on it for any number of reasons.

1. xbox game disks are written backwards.
2. the system resources required would be rediculous.
3. xbox os (mentioned above)

however i could be wrong. gl whatever you decide.;)

Yeah, a kind of new OS, actually a Windows like rip, so are not compatible even the partition system (FAT32/NTFS - FATX)
