garou versions

i have a garou rom for MAME but its only the prototype version. can someone tell me which garou rom version has a full training mode, options, playable bosses, etc. like a home version? issit the set 1, set2 or decryted C version? or is there an option in MAME that lets you pick to play the home version instead of arcade?

Any version besides the prototype it's complete.
You can't play the home version (AES) with the official MAME/MAME32, but it's possible with Mame32Plus! : Start the game, activate the internal configuration menu system pressing [TAB]: select "Dipswitches" -> "Machine Mode" -> "Console", then reset the emulation with [F3].
You can also play the AES version with other emus like Kawaks (Game -> NeoGeo Settings -> Console) or Nebula (Game -> NeoGeo options -> Mode -> Console)
