View Full Version : a noob who needs help!! (VISUAL BOY ADVANCE)

I have no idea what is going on with my VisualBoyAdvance. I downloaded it, and different versions and this happens every time!

I open VisualBoyAdvance, i go to File>>Open and i click on the game.gba.... but when i open it nothing appears- just the speed on the top which will range from 100%-7%... i don't know how to make it work, and i don't know why it's not working. Can someone please help me? is it that my computer is not able to preform this application? If need be, i can list my computer's properties...

please help!! :verysad:

How many games have you tried ? They all "blocked" in the same way ?
You might try to zip the .gba file/rom.

So please proceed. Also which video mode are you using? Options -> Video -> Render method: Try Direct3D, GDI or OGL

are you sure that your rom file is not corrupt...

is there any way of verifying, for example through getting a dat for clrmamepro then running the checksum verifiers...

do not ask me how to do this cause i dont know :)

You haven't done nothing "wrong to wrong" :D
Sorry if I sounded as if getting at you...but you might wanna remove the "I compiled this sig so DO NOT USE IT please"...it sounds like a kiddies cry or something,c'mon you're not the only one who can do that.

actualy i have found it quite useful, as some of the signiatures i have made can be found through google image search and i do not appreciate other people using my images without my permission...

thats all, otherwise, i am not uptight about it at all, if anything i try and help people as much as i can with signiatures by teaching them how or making one for them...

Yup...whatever you want man....but that won't stop me or anybody else from stealing it.
When I said "me" I didn't mean it,I won't steal it,in fact I hate that and I wouldn't feel good to use it if you know what I mean,even with the owners permission.I can make a sig anytime.

oh,,, and BTW, i use the GIMP, just to let you know, from what i gather, you use photoshop. I think they are both great pieces of software
