I heard that there is an adaptor so that you can plug your old NES controller into your PC. Is this true? If so where can I get one? any help would be great. I am new to this so excuse me if this has been discussed already, if it has could someone please direct me to the thread?

Retrousb is a good page ;) As far as an adapter that's a no since there are no nes extension cables available. I made an adapter my self by hacking apart my old nes system and using the female connector. I had to use the same circuit board design as the snes adapter. and had to add a resistor to get it to work. If you have the skills I show you how.
