I use the SmartJoy Dual Plus (PS1/2 to USB adapter) with a Pelican Arcade wireless controller and it works well.

just go to radio shack and buy the USB to PSX adapter, is only $10, follow the instructions, installed and them just plug your psx control to your laptop. I bought a control for psx at Ross for $8 bucks, pretty cheap solution and works perfect with vibration and everything:D

radioshack should have it. The package lists it as PSX adapter, but if you read the manual it'll say it works with both psx/ps2 controllers.

I got the one from play.com and the Smart-Joy plus. They both work perfectly without glitches.
