Having problems with epsxe disk switching

I was playing Parasite Eve and was up to the part where it says "Insert Disc Two", but when I put it in, the game froze. I waited ten minutes and finally gave up. I tried cleaning both discs, restarting the computer, even loading a Disc 1 scene with Disc 2 inserted using the F3 load key, and it worked fine, up until it said "Insert Disc Two", even though Disc 2 was already inserted, heh. Anyone have suggestions on how to fix this?

are you using the latest version of epsxe? i had this problem with chrono cross a few years ago and updating to the latest fixed it. i'm sure converting the cds into ISOs didnt hurt, either.

Yes, I have the latest version of epsxe. I'll try converting them now, thanks.

Try to press Esc when the Disc 2 Logo being shown. Then click on 'Change CD' and it will ask you to reject the 1st Disc and put the 2nd Disc that is required to play.

After that click on 'Ok' once everything is ready. :)
