i have been havin trouble with m internet (aol) and have just installed a wireless home network. im looking for some software to help correct problems with my computer e.g. clean my registy pc cleaner
i dont have any antivirus software at the moment.

Get AVG Free Edition or Kaspersky if you don't want to pay for antivirus, or if you want, get McAfee or Norton Antivirus. For registry cleaners get RegCleaner.

And perhaps a anti-spyware proggy, such as Hitman Pro 2: http://www.hitmanpro.nl (the site is dutch, but the prog is also in English and German).
