i just put the Rice Video plugin into my Project64 plugins directory and with the plugin i go to the settings menu. and i get error messages saying that it failed to load RiceVideo.dll because bmglib.dll was not found. if this bmglib isn't copyrighted then can someone tell me where to get it and where i drop it in (project64 or WINDOWS)?

just go to google.com and type bmglib.dll into the search. thats how i always get dll files that get fucked up in installation. there should be several links. just read carefully and use your brain......youll find it.

ok i got bmglib.dll and now rice video works :)
unfortunately, it isn't any better than the Jabo plugin 1.6. i am trying to emulate donkey kong 64 on my low-end computer, u see. i have an nvidia egforce 4000 (PCI) and on all games i am missing the fade-in effect for drawing objects, as well as some minor but annoying glitches:
What emulator/plugin do u recommend? i am sick of hearing that pj64 and jabo's plugins are best because they still suck on my pc :( i am using the rice video plugin 6.1.1 beta10 or jabo 1.6

There many graphic options, but not every video card supports them. I recommend you to take a look at the PJ64 manual for especial game fixes

It depends on what Jabo's DirectX type you are using, there's DirectX6 and DirectX8 (newest). For example, in Majora's Mask you can emulate the motion blur with DirectX8, but not with DirectX6. Of course, the video card has a lot to do with it.

great, i c a problem. My video driver doesnt work because i go to windows settings and i get an error message that says it is written for an older version of windows which it isnt :msn_pisse
just editing a day or 2 after first part of post: i went to install directx 8, thinks i am using windows NT and wont install. this annoys me very much because i have 9.0c installed but that doesnt work with 1964
