I've had the same problem with a lot of GBA roms. Try finding a different rom I guess... Always seems to work for me. ;)

Newer Rom's aren't always perfect.

About the lag, it's a VBA 1.8.0 beta 3 problem, use a previous version to fix it.

Some ROMs need to be patched, but mostly you only need to proper configure the save type:

Options -> Emulators -> Save Type -> Automatic
Options -> Emulators -> Save Type -> Flash 64K

Then a vba-over.ini file is very helpful. Unzip and place it on the VBA folder. Get it here:

http://www.gbadat.altervista.org/dl-dat.htm

Hope it helps :cool:

thanx ticktock, that solved my interal battery problem, but i still have some laging... and in the read-me file of the VBA-OVER file wat does this mean?

"You erase erase the VBA-OVER setting of the part of NES Series and Famicom Mini when playing those where the saving crack patch."

I guess this means that is prefered to disable/erase the entries of Nes Series games on vba-over.ini if you got the patched versions.

Did you try older versions of VBA? Seriously, it fixed the problem with some games here

ok... so i downloaded VBA 1.7.2 and it doesn't lag for a bout 15 minutes then it start again and stops, and it consently does that from then on... should i download an earlier version than that or should i just deal?

Try using save states to resume your game if it does not support that.
