My PC PS2 emulator's not running!!

I donwloaded the PC PS2 emulator to my computer.
I open it and it says something that window cannot open it and needs to know what program created it.
What can I do? Do i need some special program to open and use it.
I really wanna play my ffx ps2 disc on my computer.:(

What you downloaded is a compressed file. You can use 7-Zip (http://www.7-zip.org) to unpack it. Furthermore you should know that PS2 emulators are not that good yet and compatibility is low.

I understood that some time ago too, but I have friend with Dreamcast and PS2 so I can play games like ffx2,crimson sea 2 ,Devil may cry 1-3,Onimusha 1-3.........................
Do you have friends with ps2? If no, search for them (or buy ps2)
( I want ps2 too, but I have pc, so my parents wont uderstand me:( so it is problem,really)
