ripping n64 games

How can I connect my n64 to my computer or by some other way rip my many n64 games to my pc? If it's possible, how do u convert to a project64 compatible file type? Im new at this and do not kno a lot about it.....please help!

The cartridge ripping process is called "dumping" and it's a very complicated process IMHO.

And not too cheap (read: expensive) if you ask me.
