i have tekken 3 any ideas to boos performance

i have the tekken 3 rom on my pentium 4 its a 3.4gig with 2000 megs of ram but it still runs slowly is this normal or can ya make it run faster or at normal speed cheerz to any 1 who replies

Which emulator are you using? You already make a thread abour Zinc and Tekken 3 so I think it's about Mame, so please be more specific.

Anyway you'll hardly get it work faster as it takes a lot of CPU power to emulate games like from Namco System 12 board, specially as complex as like Tekken 3. The goal of Mame is to be the most accurate as possible, so they don't care too much about spped. Try to turn off auto frame skip and don't use any effect like scanlines

sorry i didnt think about tellin ya which emu i was using i just assumed u new i was on mame im a retard and im sorry lol...but hey thanks heaps for the reply if i get a 4 gig cpu i might be right hey i can afford one of those again sorry for being so dumb

No problem, perhaps when/if a new Zinc be released it would play Tekken 3 flawlessly with no need of such powerfull CPU. Let's hope so :)
