expse emulation way too slow

Ive been trying to play destruction derby on my pc using expse and its really slow. According to the doc file, my pc should be powerful enough to run this program. I have everything on the recommendation list , and then some.

Ive been messing with the configuration of the video settings and plugins, but to no avail. I have been able to speed it up just slightly, but not enough to make the game enjoyable.

D.Derby is the only iso i have right now, so i cant test it on any other games. Anybody else ever experience this ?

It would be helpful to tell us your system specs, so we be more specific. Anyway I recommend you these plugins:

GPU: Pete's D3D or OGL
SPU: Eternal, PEOpS
CDr: Sapu, PEOpS

Also use the "Fast" button to get a faster performance setting on Pete's GPU plugin. This thread might help you too:

Hey thanks for the tip hagbard, i downloaded petes D3D plugin and used the frame limiter and now its working perfectly. Im not a grinch anymore
