Does anyone know why whenever I try and run this game, the screen just turns black?

The game I'm trying to play is Final Fantasy VI.

I haven't changed any of the settings at all.

Don't get wrong, I don't know how to change them, either.

I just wanna play FF6 :(

hmm im not really sure then. Perhaps you could try patching the game or something.

You could try snes9x (http://www.emulator-zone.com/doc.php/snes/snes9x.html) Or the game maybe corrupt try downloading the rom again.
