scph1001.bin problems

i downloaded a bios for the espxe and all it turned out to be was a list of something written in notepad. is there any place that i can find a working scph1001.bin or is the one that i have the right one and i just don't know what to do with it? if you don't already know i'm new to playstation emulators and don't understand high-tech computer lingo.

scph1001.bin is copyright protected, so we can't give it to you, we can only tell you to use google or a P2P program to find it

you're not supposed to open the file. you probably have windows set to view the "code" of .bin files, just load it in epsxe

Just don't open it directly right after you download it and place it on BIOS folder. :cool:
