Age of Empire 2 multiplayer

Been trying to play online with Age of Empires 2 and it won't let me. Soon as I join a game it goes to the player screen and nothing happens.

Any help would be grateful :tomato:

Try updating your Age of Empires II to v2.0a.
Age of Empires II Update v2.0a.
