id specifically like to play my cube on the monitor so i can capture stuff. is there a way to hook up the cube without buying expensive hardware.(im thinking a cable hook up not a tuner card.)

If your monitor it's TFT and has DVI input, it might be plugged with the DVI cable from Nintendo

Just because it's on your monitor, doesn't mean you can capture it. You need something like a tuner card to capture the signal - a digital capture card would be better, as you will get the exact picture, rather than a roughly tuned analogue approximation.

So yeah, you're gonna have to spend money.

That ATI TV Wonder is a piece of shit.
I used to own one. Picture quality was craptastic, as was video input from my playstation.

Even you buy a TV card, get a Hauppauge or don't get one at all
