Weird Mame 32 problem...

When I try to play a rom nothing happens. I've tried double clicking and selecting play from the menu. Its not that it tries to open the rom and can't, it simply makes no response at all. This happens in both regular and plus versions. It was working before today no problem. I can use regular mame but its a pain in the ass.

Any ideas?

You need to update some windows components that Mame32 uses.

get norton systemworks then in that go to norton utilities then go to find and fix problems it will delete all problems the internet puts on your computer to mess with your mame then when its done finding the files push fix problems i thought my computer was messed up but it was websights put problems in there downloads to make emulators go blank go buy that program or see if you can find it for free on internet ok homie bye good luck

Oh, yeah probably should have mentioned that I fixed this. I had to download unicows.dll and run it in Win95 compatibility mode. It was still a strange occurence however since I ran it normally before.
