FF9 problem

Hello, i have configured the ePSXe emulator so that the game works ok. The problem I have is when I get into the part when they are taking the flying ship back to the castle (not very far in the game) everything works ok until a video sequence comes up, the one where the ship is taking off, then it crashes, as if it was a scrached CD only its an image.
any pointers on how to fix that? (or how to skip videos in FF9 ??)

This is a known problem with ePSXe 1.6.0. Get 1.5.2 from their official site (www.epsxe.com) instead.
