ROM Rules

Is it completely against the rules to ask for anything related to ROM aquisition? Like, instead of asking for an actual ROM file, could I ask for suggestions on where to find a certain ROMed game? Or just games in general? Like, you wouldn't condone this, but IF you did, I should go to sumptin'.com? Making totally sure, 'cause I don't want to get blammed.

We can't post direct links to roms, or to web sites who distribute roms.

The standard response around here, is to look around in google, or peer to peer networks. If you're lucky someone might PM you or something

DAMNIT! Someone answer me. I need to know 'cause there's a particular game that I'm looking for, and I wanted to know if I'm able to ask someone to send me a link to it, instead of posting the link on the actual forum itself.
