MAME098b Help

I just downlaoded this verson of MAME, MAME098b, and I have no idea how to work it. Everytime I click the MAME.exe program, A little black window comes up, but it only lets me get to a documentation. Now I'm sure there are people out there that have had the same problem, could you tell me what it is? Does anybody have any idea as to what I'm doing wrong? Thanks.

Try starting out using MAME32 instead of just MAME. MAME32 is easier for new users.

MAME098b is made for DOS users so, you need to get a good frontend to make this emulator even better.

Why don't you try MAME32 0.98b instead? :cool:

For command line Windows users I'd say, DOS version it's actually called "mame098b_dos.zip"

I know there is an official DOS version for MAME but that's what I treat it. :p
