I' m playing ff7 with epsxe 1.60, and i' m arrived to the 2° CD, when I return to the village of the ancients. Bugenhaugen put the key in and then i have to go to the center of the arena, but the screen become black, i see only a dialog window and then a flash, and after it all black.
Is it a bug? How can I go ahead? :(

PS: I' m sorry for my english, i' m a 16 years olld italian... :(

try using epsxe 1.5.2 you can get it at the epsxe site.
btw you will either have to start over or somehow transfer the memory file into version 1.5.2 if you can.(but me no know how)

Can it be a problem with the pete' s gpu plugin configuration?

I'd try Pete's gpu OGL, OGL2 & D3D, maybe some works ok for you, and look at the special game fixes options on them, there are some for FF7. Also try peops soft gpu, it should work OK, if it isn't, that's a emulator problem. Then you might try PSXeven or SSSPSX which work very good too and can share the same plugins and memory card files

For me, you should try P.E.Op.S GPU plugin not only those plugins that hagbard mentioned.

And you need to check if your CD is scratched or not.

You have to have all the rars. You only have one right? How big is that file?
A PSX game is usually 600-700 mb. You have to have all the parts to continue
extraction.
