can u tell me wat the diff is between this i dont have a clue which can u burn 2 a cd/dvd

You might burn whatever format you want as standard data files on CD or DVD, it will be played on any PC with the adequate codecs.

Another problem it's if you want to play it on a home DVD player. With applications like TMPGEnc or Nero, you can make standard CD/DVD-ROMs to be played on most dvd players, and it's not hard to do with these programs. For example:

MPEG-1: It's used for Video-CD, to burn on a CD of course :p
MPEG-2: Used in Super Video-CD and DVD-video, but with different specs. DVD-video has much better quality of course
