A Poke' Problem?

I downloaded the GBA Rom and It works great..=D Then I got the american version of Pokemon FireRed for it. Everything works fine until you press the start button. (The space bar) It says this exactly: The 1m sub-circuit board is not installed. I have no clue what that means but it does that for the japanese version too so..how do I install this said circuit?

It's called: Visual Game Boy Advance or Visual Boy Advance 1.8.0(beta)

Try this. Set your save type as flash 128k and set it to automatic
Options -> Emulator -> Save Type -> and put it on Flash 128k and automatic
Then start a new game.

I have one more stupid question, How do you make the text go faster on Pokemon? They talk so darn slow D: And how do I save my game and open it and stuff...I'm really new to Emulators.. >.<

If you want to make the game go faster hold space bar (increases about 400%+).
You can save in the pokemon game or if you want to save exactly that place you are go in->File->Save...

And when you want to load it go in->Load.. and chose the .sgm file you saved.
