Pardon the newbie question, but can some one please explain to me what the letters and/or numbers after rom game names refer to. For example, what is the difference between these games:

Zelda II - The Adventure of Link (E) (PGR0)
Zelda II - The Adventure of Link (E) (PGR0) [b1]
Zelda II - The Adventure of Link (E) (PGR0) [b2]
Zelda II - The Adventure of Link (E) (PGR2)
Zelda II - The Adventure of Link (U) [b1]
Zelda II - The Adventure of Link (U) [b2]
Zelda II - The Adventure of Link (U) [b3]
Zelda II - The Adventure of Link (U) [b4]
Zelda II - The Adventure of Link (U) [b4][o1]
Zelda II - The Adventure of Link (U) [b5]
Zelda II - The Adventure of Link (U) [b6]
Zelda II - The Adventure of Link (U) [b7]
Zelda II - The Adventure of Link (U) [b8]

U means its the USA american version
E means its the European version
J means its the Japanese version

I think the B means its a beta version. i not sure what the others mean.
