How many PS1 game can fit on a 40gig hard drive?

I'm asking because I have about 100 MAME game and it barely even puts a dent in my hard drive and was hoping it would be the same with a PS1 game.

its hard to say how many games you can collect on HDD,
cause they have various length.For example, The Hunter has 80 mb, Koudelka
has 4disks*700mb approximately.
It is not necessary to store ps games on HDD.
You can copy them with Alcohol on CD.
You can write on DVD Alcohol images of some games(they will be playable on pc only). CD can store 702 mb, DVD-4483mb.
I have ~40 RPG games for ps on real disks,my friend has 180 ps2 disks.
I happy that i have DVD writer, so i can copy ps2 games for my friends
and i have many films on DVD (write 5-6 films on 1 DVD in mpeg4)
Price is normal as for me - ~6 $ for 10 DVD disks.

Imagine a how much a CD can store? 702MB right? Then, 40GB multiply with 702MB and that's your answer. :cool:

Note :
Not every PS CD is consist with 702MB as some is larger and some is little.
