sys tray modifying

hey I know I fix computers but I sort of forgot how to modify what you have on the sys tray cause I used to modify it that when the pc started up only what I wanted appeared in the sys tray please somebody help me refresh my mind

Assuming you got XP, start a session as administrator then:

Start -> Execute -> type "msconfig" and "enter". Look at startup tab

Also Start -> Execute -> type "services.msc" . Some services are shown on the systray too
