When in Arris Dome in the future, I just caught the rat and he tells me to hold L&R and then hit A, but I keep doing it and nothing happens. What's wrong? What can I do?

is the checksum ok or bad if bad that is what is wrong i have the game and mine is ok i got by it no prob.
