I am looking for a quality 64 emulator that supports kaillera. I can get project64k to work, but my friend cannot get project64k to work. He keeps getting some direct3d error, but has some quality ati 256mb video card. So I decide to try out some other N64 emulators, but they all suck, except for one, that is 1964. With 1964 I do not get sound and I get some cannot creat mempakfile error, which is stupid because if I retry twice it goes away, but never actually works. Any suggestions to get a good quality working N64 emulator with kaillera

If your friend gets a D3D error on Project64k, he might try OpenGL output with Rice Video Plugin, or TR64 too. It's also good to keep DirectX and their drivers up to date, and check the advanced settings on Jabo's D3D plugin.

As for the MemPak error, check your other thread here (http://forums.emulator-zone.com/showthread.php?t=3563)

I think the Jabo's DX7 plugin has issues with ATI cards. I have ATI Radeon 9200 and it won't work either, but it works perfectly on PJ64 1.6

And that's Jabo's D3D 8 v1.6 plugin
