Hello, I wanted to know how I can Rip music from a NES emulator (from a ROM). I been hearing there were some Emulators thayt have a "built in" recording system that will record it (like Visual boy advance).
The reason why I want to rip them is because, I find them really catchy. I want to put them on a CD an take it where ever I go for my own personal use!
So if there a NES emulator here, that can record music (like Visua lboy advance emulaotr) then please tell. If there isn't one, can you provide links to site in which where I can Rip them myselfs.
Thanks

If you want to RIP music from NES games you will need the proper software, and knowledge of 6502 assembler language. If you know 6502 a good place to start is www.zophar.net
other than that if you want to listen to NES music on the go do the following.
Download a Winamp plugin that plays NSF files (NES music files). Then you need to goggle for NSF files Set your audio output to the diskwriter (WAV output for instance) and dump the music to WAV files that you can burn directly to a CD. You can also convert the WAV files to MP3 if you have an MP3 player, and store a shitload on one CD of course.

The WinAmp Plugin for NSF and many others, NEZplug, works very good for me

I use Nosefart or whatever it was called. ALways seemed to play NSF's the best
I have the NEZ for TG-16, haven't tried it for NSF's yet

Not without proper ROMhacking knowledge. AFAIK there are no programs that can do this for you.
