help me with this crazy mp3 encoding thingy

i have this wierd music file that winamp can only detect. but i want to burn it on a cd so i can play it in my cdplayer. does anyone know a program that can change a the file type for .ogg into .mp3 file. my cd burner doesnt recognize the music :( can someone tell me thanks :happy:

There's a software that I use the most to convert that it's called dBPowerAmp and I got all the plugins set (mp3Pro, mp3 LAME, wma, ogg, etc).

I use that program too, its good.
I use it to convert my music into ringtone format for my nextel.

go with dbpowerAmp

Just go into your Winamp options and change your output to WAV file instead of using your sound card. Then burn the WAV file to your CD and you have your song.

However, you need to convert OGG into WAV before you managed to convert it again into MP3 file.

Recommendation : dBPowerAmp as it is a good software. :)

Why not use the freeware CDex? The best CD audio ripping & format convertor imho.
