can i really play ps2 games on the pc?



if so.how can i get the bios files from my ps2?

Sorry Play Station 2 Emulation is still under development, so you may run some games but not quite fast enough to enjoy, and you may experience some graphic/sound problems.

You can find the bios files using search engines, don't ask for them here, it's against the rules.

The BIOS is an illegal thing, and this is a legal forum. And if you don't want to be banned, pleas, stop this. Ther are thousands of PS2 BIOS's on the NET, you just need to find them, that is all.

they already gave you your bios. It's in your PS1 or PS2. Transfer it to your computer yourself.

Also stop typing like a 6 year old. It really doesn't look good for your own sake.

but where shall i but them ?

in the bios folder or what?

also what is this pcsx2-0.8.1.7z?

is it a zip or rar file or what ?

you put the bios file in the bios folder.

The pcsx2 is compressed in the 7-zip file format. Search 7-z (similar to winzip and winrar) on google to download the software for free.

but these bios u r talking about are for the ps1 emulator not 2

woops my bad :o

i think that scph10000 is the U.S. one and the other is the PAL version.
so if your using the PAL one and your playing a U.S. game it won't work.
but why even try to emulate the PS2 all the emulators are way too slow.

the ps2 emulator is not complete yet. Most games are not playable or they run at a very slow frame rate.

All PS2 games will give a similar result if you try other games and so on..... So, be patience! :cool:

Are you Guys saying that No Emulators work for the PS2 or No Emulators work 100% of the Time.
I have just seen the Trailer for Killzone 2 and I would not have Minded Playing it on the PC.
If you could what is Needed to Play a PS2 Game on a PC.
Could some one list them please,Even "Cough,Cough" the one's the Forum Miester's Frown on being mentioned

No PS2 games will be fully playable in 100% normal speed.

There is No PC version of Killzone 2 because Guerrilla Games has a Contract with Sony to only Produce PS 2 Games and I cannot afford the Sony PS 2.
On the other hand Perhaps around the Corner is an Emulator that will work 1 to 1 and at 100%.
We can but hope.
