I have 1.5 and have been very active in the progress of it, as of Jun. 15 all psp's 1.5 and below can run homebrews, in this forum site i have posted various updates, and tonight as i am here reading all the topics, I have genesis running on my psp, its a very simple procedure and if anyone needs help just pm me or reply to the thread be more than happy to help you guys get emus running on your psps 1.5 (1.5 is the US version and some of the idiots that updated thier Jap psp's)

That's true. As soon as the breakthru was announced, Sony starting making bios 1.52 to cover the hole. So, at the moment, you can run homebrew on 1.00 and 1.50.

Hey I just got this info this morning about emulation possible on the PSP. I was so excited to be able to play Super Metroid on my PSP and then, like a chump, upgraded my PSP's Firmware to 1.52.

So you're all telling me that I'm SOL? PLEASE tell me emulation is possible for PSPs with 1.52 Firmware!

umm get a tissue out cuz emulation on 1.52 firmware is NOT possible yet but hopefully soon somebody will hack and crack and do all the stuff needed to make emulation possible on 1.52 firmware.

Is there any way to reformat your PSP if you updated it to 1.52 so it will go back? I updated it as soon as I got it and thought that was pretty cool... but only today did I find out about emulations on it... If I can't, then I can wait.
