A new version of Gens32 is now available. Here are the changes in version 2.26 SE: Replaced 1:1 Scan lines with TV Scan lines,Based on my Konka television.
Rewrote some graphics filter.
Rewrote sound mixer;
New sound mixer called AV OUT was added.
Restored Rom Info option.
Repaired Screen shot system,and you can take a shot with your joypad now.
Freely update option was added.Just try it yourself.
Load/Save GG Code option was added.
Redesigned joypad system.
Fixed some bugs.
16 bpp Hq2x in full screen mode was repaired.Based on Steven Snake's render plugin.
Note: I have done some modifis on Menu.And the NULL language.dat was included in tools folder.You can get it from here (http://www.emulator-zone.com/doc.php/genesis/gens32.html).

Whats the difference between Gens and Gens32?

same as between mame and mame32 i believe.

in other words gens is for dos, gens32 for windows

Both emulators are for windows. If you really want to know the differences you should try them both. The download is not that large.

Yup, both work on win32 and Gens32 it's based on Gens 2.12a & Gens+ v0.0.3.39 (another Gens based project)

oh ok so its based on gens and gens+.
I still kinda like gens+ for some reason, and I just tried gens32 and its kinda buggy. My mouse skip frames when gens32 is idle, but it goes away when I start a game. Im gonna Stick to Gens and Gens+. At least untill I can figure out whats making my mouse go crazy.
Still, Its a great emulator.
