downloads host

i got some files that i need hosted and for free i used to use yahoo breifcase and i dont like it.. friends try to download from it and it wouldent work
does any1 here know a FREE hoster for files? i dont need alot of space for my files either....

this one sucks http://www.uploadtemple.com/ this ones almost the same as below but my friends gave me complaints about it {example:damaged or incomplete archives}sucks dont use it

this ones good http://rapidshare.de/ Upload-limit: Unlimited! (30 MB per file. Split-archives allowed!)
Download-limit: Unlimited! (Some files have more than 100.000 downloads!)

This one uses email to send files to whoever you want http://www.yousendit.com/

they are all free, just be carfull of what your sending

^ When using this, give ppl the direct link so they dont have to wait 60 secs before download.
Once the file is uploaded click on the download link and wait 60 secs.
Then right click on the filename that appears go to Properties and give them that url.

huh...i didnt know you could do that. I hate waiting for those damn downloads
to finish counting down from 60 seconds.

Yeah but YSI only hosts for 7 days, I meant use RapidShare if its something youre gonna post on a forum.
Then you dont have to re-upload the file when it expires.

hey guys i decieded to revive this thread instead of making a new one.

heres my problem.
im trying to use rapidshare but when i upload a file it doesn't give me any link or anything.
somebody please help me or tell me another download host that i can use.

Just keep patience. Not everyone is able online in a short period of time.

Hmmm, I never use any of the links given as I don't know what is need to be upload. Wait for a little longer then.

nevermind i had forgotten about yahoo breifcase. im going to use that from now on un less it gives me problrms or sombody decides to give me a link to a better one.

EDIT:never mind that^ i just found out the yahoo briefcase SUCKS!!!!
i'm still open to suggestions.

Try YouSendIt first, if that doesnt work try ShareBigFile

weird....
did you try looking on the bottom of the page.
Rapidshare tends to to throw the important information all the way at the bottom of the page. (they want you to see the ads first, then your link)
