I have a question?

I recently got a rom of my fav game as a Child, Startropics, and the problem that I am having is that I am unable to access certain items during gameplay. Everything runs smoothly for the first 2 levels..chapters...however, when I get to the ghost Cave in Chapter 3, I get the sight rod and the lamp, but they do not show up on screen, therefore I am unable to use them...rendering the game uncompletable.

Any Ideas?

Why don't you try another emulator?

Another thing you should try is to download the rom from another site.The rom you have may be baggy.

Try any other emu here (http://www.emulator-zone.com/doc.php/nes/).
My personal favs are FCE Ultra, VirtuaNes, Nestopia, NNNesterJe and Jnes. ;)
