I downloaded FFIX ISO files (I have original PAL version, but it is so scratched that I can't play it) but I don't know what region they are, NTSC probably. The game itself works perfectly on AdriPSX but I can see only a small part of FMVs on the left and rest on the right is black.
Anyone have a solution on this? I am using Pete's OpenGL Plugin 1.75.

Give a try to ePSXe, PSXeven (http://www.emulator-zone.com/doc.php/psx/) or SSSPSX (http://www.asahi-net.or.jp/%7Ebz7t-skmt/), adriPSX it's a bit outdated (and discontinued)
Anyway, maybe Pete's D3D works better on your PC. And don't forget to enable on "special game fixes" on Pete's plugins the "G4 poligon cache" fix. Here are more tips to playing FF9, from ePSXe help file:
When using Pete's hardware (D3D/OGL) plugins, remember to set Offscreen Drawing to standard in order see the battle menus, and set Framebuffer Textures to Gfx Card Buffer (If your video card supports it, check Pete's docs) or Full VRam Primitives (Note: Full VRAM Primitives WILL slow down ePSXe immensely), so you can see the effect which occurs every time you enter a battle.

With ePSXe when I try to run game (CD or ISO) it seems to load it but nothing happens, no error messages or anything. :(

Well, I just use ePSXe 1.5.2 or PSXeven with no problems at all.
Plugins used :
Pete's OpenGL 2.6 (with nice setting)
Eternal SPU plugin
SaPu CD plugin
If a problem still there, please submit your PC specs here. :)
