Hello All,

I just wanted to know if somebody can help me figure out a way to log sound from games on to wav files on both the ZSNESW and SNES9X Super Nintendo emulators, like the fceu NES emulator does.

I really appreciate any help you folks can give me.

Thanks so much in advance.

Yours Truly,
Chris

afaik you can't do that, but instead you can dump an .spc file, wich it't basically a sound ram dump, so the music plays until the end of the sound/music:

Snes9x -> file-> Save SPC data

Zsnesw -> <F1> -> save SPC

You need an specific player to listen to that files, but there're winamp plugins too. Get them here (http://www.zophar.net/utilities/spc.html). SnesAmp (http://www.alpha-ii.com/Download/Main.html#SNESAmp) it's my favorite

You can get spc SNES OST, most of them full, here (http://www.snesmusic.org/v2/)
